A holiday specially tailored for those who would like to get to know the berber people of Morocco better and their way of life and culture.
The holiday would include meeting a berber family and working with them including looking after their animals, seeing what like is like in the fields and cooking and helping them with household tasks- great for children and adults alike! The tour starts off by travelling through fantastic scenery to the centre of the High Atlas - the Ait Bougamez valley. Overnight is in the upmarket Kasbah Dar Itrane in Imelghas. The next morning, meet your berber family and join in some day to day living with them - whether working with the animals or doing some berber cooking. The next day - have a short trek with some mules to ride or carry your luggage to the dinosaur tracks near R’bat. The next day is a free day to see the tighremt nearby or re-visit your paired up family, before heading back to Marrakech the next day via the Cascades D’ Ouzoud waterfalls.
