Day excursion to the Atlas Mountains (any date)
Take a day from the frantic life of Marrakech to explore the Berber stronghold of the Atlas Mountains.
Our day tour includes private transport and a specialist guide. Leaving Marrakech , you can see the Lake Lalla Takerkoust before visiting the serene plateau of Kik. The road then twists through Holm Oak and juniper forest to the heart of the Mountains at Ouirgane. A picnic lunch lakeside or at a berber village will set you up to explore the surroundings, or take a walk through the valley, stopping off for a cup of tea with a berber family. Alternatively if you are feeling the need for a relaxing afternoon- why not consider an hour or two next to a swimming pool, with a refreshing drink in a local Ksar or garden? Return via Asni village to Marrakech.
